This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Amazir and I love dA!
I'm a hobbyist photographer. I like to work with a few different subjects and styles, and every once in a while I'll pick up a new subject or style interest! I also edit my photos in GIMP.
I really love deviantART and the community here, so I like to help out where I can. I do this by contributing to projects such as #projecteducate, #FeedbackFrenzy, and #CRCommunityProjects. I also create art features regularly. Additionally, I have a number of tutorials and resources in my gallery. Please get in contact with me if you think I could help you with something!
Presentation is key. A beautiful presentation will attract other deviants to your contest, project, article, personal news, or commission information. A custom Journal skin is a great way to ensure your Journals look the best they can.
I'm enthusiastic about Journal skins! I love working with people to help them represent themselves or their articles through a Journal skin. My favourite design styles to work with are Minimalism, Retro, and Vintage; but I can work with anything!
Through this widget you can purchase a simple skin fit for everyday and personal use. If you'd like to purchase a more advanced skin, please see my full commission information.

I wanted to post a comment on your thread about deviation popularity, but it was closed.
Anyway, it's a lesson that I keep learning over and over-- I commit endless hours to make something I think will give me that push to the "next level" of recognition and the response is lukewarm from viewers. There was a deviation I spent 100 or more hours on, changing the colours over and over, finding reference and really trying to do something interesting; a digital piece that is 6000 x 8000 resolution and quite large... a year later it has maybe 200 views. Then I do some stupid sketch or doodle in twenty minutes and it becomes my most popular image.
